The Stubbed Hip timber truss has very similar properties to the Hip truss: the difference is heightened ends at the support points. The solution is used at increased loads as it is capable of withholding higher loads than the Hip truss. Loads intended for the Stubbed Hip timber truss:
The thickness, width and layout of internal webbing of the truss boards depends on the selected truss span, roof slope and all aforementioned loads.
